4. Anti-suspension trauma sling
This device is made by a highly resistant webbing, B.L >25 KN, with non-symmetrical sewing, an aluminum carabiner with automatic closure and a a light cover with lateral zipper opening.
Why to use EMERGENCY
Each worker at heights has to be equipped with a full body harness acc. to EN 361, a positioning rope or any other safety rope, fall arrester, etc. In case of a fall, the worker will remain suspended in his harness. Because of the body weight, the webbings around his legs will put a high pressure on the arteries and veins and will bring after short time the blood circulation to stop in the lower part of his body. Now, the worker must be saved in the shortest time possible. The rescue team has about 15-20 minutes time to bring the worker down. This time is very difficult and can be also very painful for the person who has to be saved. If because different reasons this time of 15-20 minutes will be extended, the persons body will suffer irreversible damages, collapse and after some time, death.
If the EMERGENCY devise is used, this will be attached to the full body harness on the right position. Like this, the suspended person can " move" the weight of his body totally on the webbing of the device. The pressure on the blood sanguineous vessels is released, so there is won the mostly precious time for the persons health and integrity, till he is saved by the rescue team.
EMERGENCY - how it works
The device is attached in the region of the hip, on the point where the posterior and the anterior webbing are crossing each other. There is also the possibility to sew the device directly on this position when manufacturing the customers harnesses or when the yearly check is requested.
By choosing the right anchorage points of EMERGENCY on the harness, the person can stay on the webbings of EMERGENCY like on a ladder, there is allmost no pressure on another sensible part of his body.
The webbings are sewed non-symmetrical. One is longer, the other is slightly shorter, Like this, the person has more possibilities to stay but also to change his position when using the device.
EMERGENCY is very simple to use, is totally safe and strong, has a very low purchasing cost, but can save a life!
